The effectiveness of intervention based on psychological and spiritual dimensions in improving existential anxiety and spiritual well-being according to the moderating role of levels of religious knowledge
The purpose of this study was to model the psychological and spiritual dimensions based intervention in improvement of existential anxiety and spiritual well-being regarding the moderating role of religious insight. The research method was semi- experimental with pre- and post-test and control group. The statistical population of the present research included all the couples in Tabriz who referred to Tabriz consulting centers in order to improve andapply religious teachings in their couple lives. Firstly, regarding that in this research the criterion of insight thinking was as the variable of moderating, the number of 200 couples referring to the Saadat consulting center were screened regarding high and low level of insight thinking (using the questionnaire of religious insight) by the method of purposeful and among them, 60 people, 30 people as the control group and the experimental group (15 people with high insight thinking and 15 ones with low insight thinking) and 30 other couple as the control group and the experimental group (15 people with high insight thinking and 15 ones with low insight thinking) have been selected as sample that before presenting the intervention and after performing that existential anxiety was measured. The instruments used for data collection included: religious insight questionnaire, spiritual well-being questionnaire and Good existential anxiety scale. The procedure was that 10 sessions of intervention was performed for the experimental group and no intervention was performed on control group. In this research, in order to analyze data MANCOVA method was used.
