Investigating Effective Local Governance Measures to Reduce the Effects of Drought in Rural Settlements Darab township

The efficiency of local governance is one of the influential factors In reducing the effects of drought in rural settlements. The results of the study show that one of the important economic measures of local governance in reducing the effects of drought It is possible to encourage the villagers to diversify their livelihood, to help the livelihood of the affected families by introducing them to the benefactors, mentioned encouraging the cultivation of high-yielding and marketable crops, introducing more lucrative agricultural products, and encouraging the construction of greenhouses. Also effective social measures to reduce the effects of drought, including encouraging farmers to use cooperative methods in the production and harvest of crops and orchards, Encourage villagers to stay in the village, help increase farmers' knowledge and introduce social capital experiences to deal with the effects of drought And in the field of environmental measures, such as the introduction of new methods of irrigation, pointed to the prevention of pollution of surface and groundwater resources and the introduction of environmentally harmful people to the judicial authorities.
