Study of Poem Attribution in Anthology of Eskandar Mirza Timury

Anthologies are very important because of the variety of poems. As it is known, literary taste changes in every century, and poem that was popular at a time may not be much appreciated at another time. Certainly, these poems will be forgotten, and sometimes even the names of their poets are gradually forgotten. Anthology seems to be a safe place to preserve these poems and the names of their poets. Thus, by using them, one could find examples of poem from poets whose diwans have not been transcribed and have disappeared. This shows the importance of Anthologies. In addition to these advantages, manuscript anthologies have some drawbacks that need to be corrected so that researchers who refer to them do not go astray. Assigning of poem to a poet is of the things that an author may mistake. As in the book of Eskandar Mirza Timury, in a few cases, some poems mistakenly referred to other poets which we have discussed in this paper. In the present paper, we have examined the correctness of assigning poems in four sections. 1) Poems which is attributed to two different poets in the anthology 2) Two poems in the form of a MOSAMMAT whose components are quoted to eleven poets 3)  poems mistakenly attributed to others by the phrase of "again from him" 4) Poems that have been attributed to other poets in various sources.
