Some points on Arabic paleography
In 1898, Francisco Codera [Zaidin] made a serious study on the condition of the lines of Arabic texts and suggested ways to advance the paleography of Arabic; but, a century later, little progress had been made in this regard. Whatever the reasons, the history of paleography seems to be able to explain the problems it has been facing with. In the future, much of the started program, which began in 1898, remains relevant. It is also appropriate to reflect on the methods of analyzing the Arabic script. In some cases, examples are provided to start a broader discussion.
