Analyzing the 12th grade high school science major Qur’an textbooks in light of multiple intelligence theory

Abstract:
Textbook analyses in light of contemporary theories is an inevitable activity. Multiple intelligence theory is one of practical theories that has been used in academic and scientific planning. In this study, the focus was on multiple intelligence analyses with regard to individual differences. Focusing on multiple intelligence in textbook development is a necessity that has to be taken into account in textbook development. Multiple intelligence incidences were studied in Arabic Qur’an textbook with content analyses. The percentage pro-potion of indicates the amount and performance of multiple intelligence in Arabic. Results indicated that the percentage of intelligence in mathematics, location, and verbal intelligence are more of concern than the other components of multiple intelligence. Kinesthetic intelligence had no status in the findings of this study.
