The Governmental Method of the Prophet (PBUH) in Managing Social Capital
Social capital has different definitions, but regardless of the differences, one of the main axes of this concept regards connections and network/group relations. Accordingly, the activism of individuals or governments in social relations has a direct effect on reducing or increasing social capital. Since the Prophetic government is a suitable model for Islamic governments, strategies for increasing the social capital of Islamic societies can be obtained by examining his governmental actions. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to discover the principles and strategies for increasing social capital based on the conduct of the Prophet (PBUH). In this article, a descriptive exploratory approach and document content analysis method are used to extract his method in improving social relations and forming an Islamic society. Then the effect of that action or principle on the quality of social relations is examined. Creating a united Islamic nation based on brotherhood, expanding justice and combating discrimination, protecting the rights of minorities, expanding the concept of society, and determining the standard of citizenship are among the practical principles derived from the conduct of the Prophet (PBUH) in reforming social relations and creating a proper social structure. These principles have increased the social capital of Muslims.
