The gurpi formation (latecretaceous), pabdeh formation (Eocene), asmari limestone (oligomiocene) andquartaermary alluvial materials are exposed in this anticline. Tectonic movements havecrushed the anticline and caused joint systems and 24 faults. The present climate issemiarid. Despite this climate there are different forms of karst features such as Lapies(german, karren), Dolines, uvalas, and karst vallies. These forms seems to belong tothe paleokarst.
