An Analytical Study of the Traditions of the Tukites1 in Contemporary Times
By examining the Mahdavi narrations and forming a hadith family in the field of timing (Tawghit), we know that expressing any sign and symptom of Appearance, if it leads to some kind of timing, is a deviation and its narrator is considered a liar. This issue is strictly forbidden in the narrations; because in some narrations, the time of Appearance has been considered as one of the divine secrets or like the time (of resurrection). Some contemporary scholars have expressed timing in a probabilistic and concise way. As a result of the issue of timing, many damages will be imposed on the religion and the Islamic society. The most important findings in this article, which have been prepared in a descriptive and analytical manner, are that timing is strictly forbidden in narrations. In addition, setting the time will damage the basis of the belief in the promised Savior. It may also lead to the denial of the principle of Mahdism, despair, misuse of beliefs, and the emergence of false claimants in Islamic society.
