Evaluation of physical resilient of the city of Qazvin against earthquake with the approach of natural site of the city

Cities are complex and interdependent systems that are very vulnerable to natural hazards. This study, in addition to the variables that other researchers presented concerning the city's body, has taken a deeper look at the intensification of earthquakes in cities, taking into account the natural conditions of cities, provides a functional model and applies it to the city of Qazvin, which has been discussed and analyzed in the highly seismic and high-risk region. Based on the proposed model for the resilience of Qazvin against earthquakes, 31 urban experts have been surveyed and interviewed. Using quantitative and qualitative analysis, the research data were processed, the relationship between variables was analyzed, and finally, the comparative situation of Qazvin city was determined. Regarding the importance of both descriptive and spatial data of Qazvin, the GIS software has been used for analyzing information. Also, the hierarchical analysis method and its software called "Expert Choice" were used to evaluate the importance factor of effective variables. Finally, the principles and criteria extracted from the urban experts' viewpoint were compared to the current situation of the city, and thus the vulnerable points in the city of Qazvin have been identified based on the relevant suspicious variable. The model output shows that Qazvin's vulnerability is so widespread that the strategy of action during disruption and returning to the initial state is ineffective. It is better to focus on self-organization and increased pre-earthquake capacity.
