Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of cognitive emotion regulation in the relationship between marital conflict and marital burnout in women of Chalous city in a descriptive-correlation method and its statistical population consists of women in Chalous city. According to Morgan's table, 250 people were selected as a sample according to the size of the statistical population. Questionnaires of cognitive emotion regulation strategies, marital conflict and marital boredom were used to measure the research variables and rolling regression statistical test was used simultaneously to analyze the data. Findings have shown that the variable of positive cognitive emotion regulation strategies does not mediate the relationship between marital conflict and marital burnout in women. The variable of negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies plays a mediating role in the relationship between marital conflict and female marital burnout. Positive cognitive emotion regulation strategies do not mediate between marital conflict and physical fatigue. Positive Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategies Mediate the role of marital conflict with emotional breakdown and psychological breakdown. Negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies mediate between marital conflict with physical fatigue and emotional breakdown and psychological breakdown of women.
