Analysis of Palm's Place in proverbs & metonymis of Jahrom

Abstract:
Folk culture is one of the building blocks of national identity, and it can prevent the destruction of the traditions of a land and the spread of foreign culture in society. Jahrom has been called the "palm forest" in the past that it has been a sign of the mass of palm trees in the city. In the past, palms or Tarok,in Jahromans dialect, have been very important and effective in Jahrom people's lives and there are also many local terms referring to palm constituents, palm varieties, palm-related affairs, fixtures, pests, related people and palm-fed foods in Jahrom. This article examines the field and the library in a descriptive-analytical way and analyzes the position and importance of this tree in one of the aspects of oral literature of the people of Jahrom, proverbs and multiplications, and has provided various examples of it. In metaphors, proverbs, and parables like the one mentioned above, palms and their related things are often moral and educational, and sometimes humorous. In terms of vocabulary, these celebrities are usually assigned to Jahrom city due to the use of special words.
