Checking the possibility of using recycled wastewater and municipal runoff as fire control water sources
Despite the fact that there is a water crisis in Iran, in many cases, fire water sources are supplied from urban water, the use of recycled wastewater and municipal runoff as water sources for firefighting causes the storage of a large part of urban water resource. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the possibility of using wastewater and urban runoff as firefighting has been done as water sources. In this study, Delphi questionnaires, paired comparisons, DEMATEL criteria and DEMATEL sub-criteria have been used. The statistical population of the study included 10 experts of the fire department in the study area who were selected using the snowball technique that the questionnaire of experts was distributed among them. The main criteria of the research based on scientific studies in this field include the reuse of treated wastewater, the use of runoff and preservation of water resources was available. Each of these criteria included a sub-criterion included a number of indicators. Data analysis was performed using DELPHI AND DEMATEL FUZZY approach. The results showed that the main criterion for maintaining existing water resources with a final weight of 0.435 was ranked in the first priority. Contaminant index with a weight of 0.0478 in the first priority among the indicators and the use of runoff is the most effective and the intraction between the sub-criteria and the development of the treatment planet had the most impact among the sub-criteria. Knowing these indicators and their importance, we can try to adopt theme to the sources of water or wastewater treatment to be able to bring these resources to the desired level for use in the fire system and or try to preserve existing water resources.
