Designing Pathology Pattern of Green Information Technology Implementation in Hospitals and Treatment Centers
Today, green information technology is recognized as one of the key factors for achieving sustainable environmental development. The aim of this study was to designing pathology pattern of green information technology implementation in hospitals and treatment centers.
This study is applied in terms of purpose and took place in terms of methodology, descriptive – analytic that first, with reviewing the theoretical bases and the opinion of the experts, the challenges of deployment of green information technology in hospitals and treatment centers were identified. Then after identifying these challenges by Delphi method, the main challenges of deployment of green information technology in hospitals and treatment centers were identified and to analyze the data, structural interpretive approach was used.
after members of the panel reached a theoretical consensus in two steps, 19 factors were extracted to analyze the structural interpretive modeling. The results of the study show that the two factors of government lack of financial support by providing financial facilities and lack of sufficient budget and credit in the organization to deploy green information technology are at the key level of study factors.
The results show that hospitals and health centers without government support will not be able to establish green information technology infrastructure and enjoy its benefits. The government can be fruitful in terms of financial support for hospitals and medical centers in order to purchase equipment and other requirements for the establishment of green information technology.
