Spatial distribution of "poverty of happiness" and explanation of the "phenomenon of poor happiness",Sample study: Neighborhoods of Zahedan
Happiness is the foundation of a good life and mental health. Lack or weakness of the necessary thresholds of feeling of happiness,is challenge and harm. Iran is one of the 10 most depressed countries and its happiness rank among 69 countries is 61. This survey research focuses on three objectives first, measuring the happiness of citizens, second, analyzing the spatial distribution of happiness in 46 neighborhoods of Zahedan and third, analyzing the relationship between citizens' happiness and the economic, social and physical level of their neighborhood. Models of analysis include Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Shapiro-Wilk, Mann-Whitney, Kruskalovalis, Kaido, Testing, Modalfi, Vickramers, and Cross-tabulation. The sample size is 386 units from 46 neighborhoods;. Findings with a significance level of 0.000 show: the level of citizens' happiness is undesirable (65%, very low, low, to moderate). Also, 26% of the residents of the first and second level neighborhoods of the city consider their happiness to be high to very high. But 55% of the residents of level four and five neighborhoods find their happiness to be very high.The above inverse relationship between economic and social level. The physicality of the neighborhood, with their level of happiness, revealed the existence of a "phenomenon of poor happiness." Moreover, it showed two additional tests; First, 28% of the population of Fars and 42% of the population of Baluch consider their happiness to be high to very high. Second, the relationship between the leveling of neighborhoods and their ethnic context was confirmed at the significance level of 0.003.
