Identifying the Professional Development Required for Elementary School Teachers in District 3 of Ahvaz
The purpose of this study was to identify the professional capability of primary school teachers in District 3 of Ahvaz city in 2019.Its results can be useful for improving and enhancing the professional abilities of primary school teachers. The research method is descriptive and uses a survey method to gather information. According to Morgan's table, 367 teachers are selected by simple random sampling of 800 teachers. The survey instrument was designed to answer 6 dimensions and a total of 24 questions based on the Quebec Canadian Professional Capability Model and 6 components of Professional Capability to Review and Interpret Knowledge and Culture Ability to Speak Evaluate, Information and Communication Technology. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.85 and its validity was confirmed by supervisor and consultant. Independent t-test was used for data analysis and SPSS 18 software was used. The significance level of 0.05 was considered for all hypotheses and two existing and desirable situations were determined from the teachers' point of view. The results showed that the professional competence in the field of criticism, the interpretation of knowledge and culture, the professional competence in the field of expression ability, the professional competence in the field of evaluation, the professional competence in the field of information and communication technology, the professional competence in the field ofparticipation. In professional development, there is a significant difference between professional aptitude in the field of professional ethics required by elementary school teachers in District 3 of Ahvaz in both ideal and existing situation.
