The Effect of Virtual Education on the Knowledge of Patients with Covid 19 After Discharge From Masih Daneshvari Hospital
The rapid transmission of coronavirus requires individuals and health systems around the world to rapidly change public health practices and take immediate steps to educate and answer questions and minimize transmission. Do it through gatherings and traffic. Virtual education is the use of information and electronic communication technologies to provide health information and telemedicine services. Therefore, considering that Dr. Masih Daneshvari Hospital is one of the referral centers for COVID-19 disease and considering the condition of patients after discharge, it is necessary to follow up patients and teach health and care issues after discharge.The use of the checklist includes 5 areas that are completed by the nursing expert 4 days after discharge of patients hospitalized with Covid-19 from Masih Daneshvari Hospital and then analyzed in SPSS software.The study was performed on 80 patients with Covid 19 admitted to Dr. Masih Daneshvari Hospital after discharge. The mean age of participants in the project was 53.22. 15.5. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between demographic factors and the effect of education in different areas. In the field of observance of nutritional principles, 38 people (47.5%) of people who did not have an underlying disease have stated that the effect of training is high.
This study shows that distance education has a positive effect on learning and raising patients' awareness during the epidemic. Training and, to some extent, distance therapy through virtual communication can lead to patient satisfaction, learning promotion, knowledge and self-care promotion. Virtual education seems to bean effective way to replace routine visits in certain situations.
