Sociological Analysis of the Relationship between the Security Feeling and Psychological Capital(Case Study: 18 plus Citizens in Khorasan Razavi)
Security feeling, lack of danger and creating confidence may lead to comfort and tranquility through prosperity, optimism, hope, self-efficacy and flexibility. The present study deals with the explanatory relationship between the security feeling and psychological capital. Giddens' existential security crushing approach and Lutans psychological capital have been used for theoretical explanation.
Findings were collected using quantitative survey-based approach (descriptive and correlation), and using a questionnaire. Simple random sampling based on Cochran's formula was used for selecting 618 samples.
The results of the hypotheses indicate that the variable of security feeling with the dependent variable at a significance level of 0.05 based on correlation coefficient (0.727) with strong intensity and based on the values of correlation coefficient of independent variable dimensions of life security components: moral, social, economic, family and psychological have had a significant relationship with the dependent variable. According to the regression model, the components of the variable of mental, economic, moral and life security with little range of error (less than 0.01) have had significant relationship and have explained about 79.4% of the changes in the dependent variable. Institutionalizing existential security based on the absence of risk and building trust and confidence may flourish psychological capital, and via cooperation among security, culture and community stakeholders; hope, optimism, self-efficacy and flexibility could be built into the life behaviors of citizens.
