Fintechs and their monitoring

Recent advances in information technology have led to the rapid development and expansion of new and innovative financial services called financial technology (Fin Tech). Fin Tech is a combination of financial terms and technology. Fin Tech is an emerging and innovative phenomenon that has attracted public attention and growing investment. Fin Tech has opened up new opportunities to empower people by increasing transparency, reducing costs, reducing intermediaries and accessing information. Fin Tech companies are now expanding their reach through the internet and mobile, such as mobile payments and remittances, and through traditional online banking by financial companies to innovative and diverse financial services by non-financial providers. Although many scholars believe that Fin Tech can change the future of the financial industry, there is still doubt about it. The main obstacles to Fin Tech’s acceptance include financial, regulatory, security and operational risks. Consideration of risks and concerns, their integration into banking, its steps and benefits should be considered. The purpose of this study was to evaluate fintechs and propose solutions to monitor fintechs. This descriptive study was performed. A library method was used to collect research data and literature. Inferential research results show that fintechs have advantages and disadvantages, so fintechs should be selected which have more advantages and lower risks for banking
