Pathological Analysis of the Hadith of “The Ten Promised Paradise” [Asharah al-Mubashsharah]

The Hadith</em> of “The Ten Promised Paradise” [Asharah al-Mubashsharah</em>] has been mentioned only in the sources of Sunni narrations. The Sunnis cite this hadith</em> as a clear and solid argument to prove the legitimacy of “the Ten Promised Paradise” [Asharah al-Mubashsharah</em>] and their being free from any mistake. Therefore, research in this field is very important to discover the truth. In the present research, the author has critiqued the documental chain and the content of the hadith</em> with the descriptive and analytical method and has discussed it in five main axes: proving the deficiency of the hadith </em>on behalf of documentation and content [mudhtarib</em>], quarrels and conflicts among some of “the Ten Promised Paradise” [Asharah al-Mubashsharah</em>], the celebrity of this hadith</em> among the later narrators, the lack of characteristics of being paradise (in nine of them) and the explanation of their misconduct and improper performance, and based on the above-mentioned issues, the weakness and distortion of the hadith</em> document, the anxiety of its text, and finally, the falsity of the said hadith</em> have been proven.
