A Comparative Study on the Role of Women's Growth and Development in Their Beauty and Their Lack of Enlightenment in Conflict from the Viewpoint of the Interpretation of Fariqin and Psychological Researches
According to the views of most interpreters of Fariqin, Helia verse emphasizes the development of beauty and the lack of enlightenment as the two characteristics of women. Most Sunni and some Shiite interpreters consider these two characteristics as a sign of the defect of women's intellect, but most Shiite interpreters, in regard to other Quranic verses, consider it as a real description of women. This descriptive-analytical research first analyzed interpreters' views and then compared their views with new psychological findings in written sources. The results showed that, for a comparative implication, Helia verse in the position of giving information is a fact of women's psychological reality and their natural description designed for the productivity of family life based on divine wisdom; but for an obligatory implication, it can be a necessity for giving women an advice that points out these two important issues in life: first, the role of beauty within family in the growth and development of women's personality and taking care of it, and second, the avoidance of hostile situations in family and social life that is a solution to strengthen family and reduce the verbal arguments between men and women.
