Evaluation of the limitations of implementing patients' electronic records in order to improve the level of Rafsanjan Dental School of oral health in 2021
Electronic records represent the main source of services provided and patient health care. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the limitations of implementing electronic records of patients to improve the level of oral hygiene.
This study was a cross-sectional study. All faculty members (31 people) of Rafsanjan Dental School entered the study using census in 2020. Data were collected through a standard questionnaire. Data analysis was performed in SPSS-20 using descriptive statistics and Pearson’s correlation test. (p<0.05).
The age range of the respondents was 27-54 years. The highest and lowest mean and standard deviation of the restrictions on the implementation of electronic dental records were related to financial and managerial constraints (3.58±0.56) and attitudinal and behavioral constraints (2.99±0.53), respectively
In order to maintain oral and dental health, it is necessary to collect information in electronic dental records and remove the limitations of its implementation.
