Identifying and ranking the factors affecting the development of research culture in elementary students from the perspective of principals and teachers
The world is facing vast changes, these changes are affecting all areas of human life with increasing speed. In this changing world, taking a step towards progress in a way that guarantees the worthy position of Iran as a leading country in the field of scientific revolution, depends more than anything on research, research and development. Realizing this necessity, the present study was conducted with the aim of identifying and ranking the factors affecting the development of research culture in elementary students from the perspective of principals and teachers. First, the effective factors on the development of research culture in primary education were identified based on theoretical foundations and previous studies, then the opinions of experts in this field were obtained. In this regard, the research method was used in terms of applied purpose and in terms of survey method and nature. The statistical population of the research is the principals and teachers of primary schools in Sarakhs city. To determine the sample size in this study, the snowball method, which is one of the non-probability sampling methods, was used and 60 principals and teachers participated in the study. Data collection was done in the form of library and field with the help of a researcher-made questionnaire. SPSS and expertchoice software were used to analyze descriptive and analytical information. The results showed that from the perspective of principals and teachers, the teacher is the most important factor in creating and developing a culture of research in primary education.
