The Effectiveness of Responsibility with the Method of Reality Therapy on High Risk Behaviors, Emotional Self-Regulation and Identity Crises
This study aimed to determine the effect of responsibility training with the method of reality therapy on high risk behaviors, emotional self-regulation and identity crises among second high school girl’s students of Shahr-e-Kord city. The statistical society of this study included of second high school girls of Shahr-e-Kord city in the 1395-1396 academic year that consisted of 2851 people. The statistical sample accomplished by multi-stage cluster sampling and after choosing and specifying 40 people, they were randomly classified in two test and control groups. The high-risk behaviors, emotional self-regulation and identity crises questionnaires were distributed among both groups and all participants replied the questionnaires, then the test group lied under the responsibility training with the method of reality therapy. Nine ninety-minute meetings were set to treat the participants. When the course finished, both control and test groups completed the questionnaires of the study. Finally, the obtained data were analyzed by SPSS software and multiple and single variable covariance test. The obtained result of this study showed that responsibility training with the method of reality therapy on high risk behaviors, emotional self-regulation and identity crises had an impact on high school students. Thus, the high risk behaviors and identity crises of students can be reduced and the emotional self-regulation can be increased by responsibility training with the method of reality therapy.
