Planting of forest species greenery with the influence of Nowruz greenery to promote the culture of nature protection

The greenery is one of the seven scenes of Nowruz and planting it before Nowruz is one of our Iranian traditions. The ancients considered greenery as a symbol of blessing and fertility. They planted wheat, barley and millet, which were their most important food before Eid. Nowadays, the green of Nowruz, which is rooted in the ancient customs and beliefs of the people, can be influenced. In this idea, instead of using grains to produce greenery, the use of tree seeds, including fruitful and non-fruitful species, is considered. Because after spending expenses such as preparing seeds, preparing dishes and water, the grown greeneries are not used much and are practically thrown away. In order to quantify these costs, the relevant costs were extracted in one year. The results showed that about 16937224 households plant wheat, which is 70% of the total abundance. The total cost of used grain seeds is 19054381 million Rials. Also, the total cost of water used for planting cereals is about 87234216 million Rials. In addition, it costs about 362940525 million Rials to prepare a container for planting greenery. Therefore, the total costs include seeds, water and containers are approximately 469229122 million Rials. To prevent the grain seeds loss on the Nowruz, it is better this tradition in a way that has the least waste and help the environment be guided via planting seeds that can be transferred to nature and develop a tree.
