Investigating the relationship between structural changes in the family institution and the tendency to cybercrime (Case study: Tabriz)
The process of globalization and unbalanced growth of cyberspace has disrupted the stability of society and has created a kind of permeable social space in families and has caused changes in the functional, value and structural system of the family and thus the prevailing values. Gradually weakened and marginalized in favor of new norms and unconventional and delinquent behaviors. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between structural changes in the family institution and the tendency to cybercrime.
The survey research method and sample size are 598 citizens aged 19 to 60 years with diploma and higher education who have been estimated through the cochlear formula and selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. The measurement tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with an interview and SPSS software was used to analyze the data.
Multiple correlations equal to 0.241 and simultaneous independent variables 0.412 are associated with cybercrime tendencies and 0.24% of the changes in respondents' cybercrime tendencies by variables of secularization of religious beliefs, transformation of communication relations in the family. , The balance of power in the family, the increase of individualism and cosmopolitanism are explained.
Family-oriented measures, creating national vitality, internalizing religious beliefs, etc. will be fruitful in reducing cybercrime.
