The Effect of Strategic Human Resource Management on Organizational Performance and Agility with Mediating Role of Intellectual Capital in the Staff of Physical Education Faculties in Tehran City
Achieving strategic human resource management is necessary to respond effectively to environmental changes and gain a competitive advantage in physical education faculties. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of strategic human resource management on organizational performance and agility with the mediating role of intellectual capital in the staff of Physical Education faculties in Tehran city. This research purpose was practical and a survey research method by structural equating has been used. The population of the study includes 344 male and female staff of physical education faculties, which sample size was estimated by stratified sampling method and using proportional allocation according to Cochran's formula. For data collection, four standard questionnaires of strategic human resource management (2006), Bontis (1996) intellectual capital questionnaire, Sharifi and Zhang (2001) organizational agility questionnaire, and Yang (2004) organizational performance questionnaire were used. Research data were analyzed by using IBM SPSS statistical v.21 software. In the staff of physical education faculties in Tehran city, the four variables of strategic human resource management, intellectual capital, organizational performance, and organizational agility possess worthwhile situations. Furthermore, strategic human resource management significantly impacts organizational performance, intellectual capital, and organizational agility. In addition, intellectual capital significantly affects organizational performance, organizational agility, and also, organizational agility has a significant effect on organizational performance.
