Assessment of revolution in Egypt based on theory of third world social revolutions
Foran’s theory about origins of revolutions is a strong and famous theory for interpretation of political trends that has presented by John Foran for explanation of important developments in nonwestern regions. This paper tries to apply Foran’s theory for analysis of Egypt revolution. According to his hypothesis , this theory can explain that revolution because Foran’s emphasis on political suppression, religion of character policy, dependent economy and much strong role of foreign countries in Egypt policy making are points that we can see in Egypt easily. The author concludes that this theory is bright and explainer in the Middle East.
