NATO's relations with the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and its impact regional security
Due to its geo-strategic position in the Persian Gulf geopolitics of international security, has a special place. Given the importance of geopolitics in the aftermath of September 11 as well as during the Cold War, it seems that Trans-regional actors such as the United States of America, Europe and NATO in the security management of the Persian Gulf region, have taken on new roles.
