Assessing the economic status of municipal solid waste(Case study of Amol city)

This article reviews the economic position of recyclable materials in the regions covered by Amol Municipality. In the first stage; after editing, summarizing and extracting information from the field, documentary studies, interview and questionnaire we have used SWOT analysis to determine Waste management strategies in Amol city and the most important Strengths and Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats have been identified to present Offensive, Review, Diversification, Defensive Strategies. In the second stage, Internal and External Matrix are used after analyzing Internal and External factors to analyze them simultaneously. In the third stage; some strategies are according to SWOT Model offered to manage City Waste and finally using Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix QSPM has been determined which selected strategy options are possible and in fact, these strategies are prioritization. The findings of Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix QSPM show that the sixth Strategy 1WT(creating stable financial resources to provide required expenses for Waste management) with 93/3 has the most charm score for economic prosperity.
