A local leadership model for adaptive studying of leadership style of government and non-government newspapers.
This study intends to identify a model of local leadership for government and non-government newspapers and also, to compare the model of leadership in the government and non-government newspapers. For this purpose, first all leadership models have studied and combined with Islamic leadership model and then 134 indexes were selected as optimal indexes of local leadership. These indexes were sent for 56 media management professors and newspaper managers. After factor analysis, 68 items were classified in four factors that the charismatic leader with 32 items, learning with 18 items, values - ethnics with 12 items and communications skills (empathy) with 6 items were obtained. After implementing a questionnaire in pilot study and using Cronbach alpha, six items were deleted. Finally the charismatic leadership with 32 items, learning with 16 items, values - ethnics with 9 items and communications skills (empathy) with 5items was selected. The questionnaire were distributed among the employees of four newspapers and its results show that, there is a significant difference between leadership in government and non-government newspapers in four factors of charismatic leadership, learning, values-ethics and empathy.
