The Effect of Spiritual Leadership on the Components of Job Behaviors of Faculty Members of Islamic Republic of Iran Army (IRIA) Universities

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of spiritual leadership on the eight components of job behavior, namely job satisfaction, hope, job-related, organizational commitment, organizational self-esteem, organizational citizenship behavior, intention to leave service and burnout. The research method is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of the present study includes faculty members of Islamic Republic of Iran Army (IRIA) universities that 115 people who were selected by convenience sampling method. Research data were collected using standard electronic questionnaires of spiritual leadership and job behavior components and analyzed by structural equation modeling method using Smart-PLS software. To evaluate the reliability and validity of the data collection tool, Cronbach's alpha indices and composite reliability, AVE index and convergent validity were used, which were in the acceptable range. The results showed that spiritual leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, hope, job-related, organizational commitment, organizational self-esteem, organizational citizenship behavior and a negative effect on the intention to leave the service and burnout of faculty members of IRIA universities.
