Identifying the Characteristics of Effective Lasting Dialogue between Couples in Iranian Families
The family is identified as an institution or social institution resulting from the marriage between men and women. One of the manifestations of human social life is the existence of a healthy and constructive interaction between human beings, love for one's kind and expression of communion and empathy for each other. The main pillar of family as the foundation of society is marriage. Marriage is one of the most important events in human life. Marriage is the most important and fundamental human relationship because it provides the structure for the creation of family relationships and the upbringing of the next generation. The aim of this study was to identify the dimensions of effective dialogue between couples using fuzzy Delphi technique, weighting and prioritization of each using gray analytic hierarchy process technique. For this purpose, first, by reviewing the theoretical foundations and background of the research, the dimensions of effective dialogue between couples were identified, then using the viewpoints of academic professors and 50 couples, they were randomly identified by fuzzy Delphi technique and questionnaire in five dimensions. The results of this study showed that communication skills dimension ranked first and dimensions of informed dialogue, planning for dialogue, talk, and optimism about the results of dialogue ranked second to fifth. The results of the present study can provide a comprehensive view to counselors and couples about recognizing the dimensions of sustainable conversation.
