Internet of Things and its application in facilitating the flow of knowledge in government organizations
The emergence of the Internet of things has created new contexts and processes in knowledge management and knowledge flow in organizations. In this paper, we will see how different forms of this technology facilitate knowledge management and flow in organizations.
This review study adopted the secondary research method and used the results of previous studies.
In its simplest forms, the Internet of things can be utilized in state-run organizations via the use of RFIDs, geographical positioning or face and fingerprint detection systems, surveillance cameras, various sensors, and intelligent systems that process data by using inference engines.
In the near future, the high penetration of technologies such as the Internet of things in state-run organizations will be inevitable. By increasing the speed and precision of collection, creating a huge database, helping the smartization of processes, and improving the information system, the Internet of things can assist organizations in facilitating knowledge generation, development, and dissemination via intelligent data processing and inferencing.
