Investigating the Role of Effective Factors on Religious Tourism in Entrepreneurship Development in Shiraz
Religious tourism is one of the oldest and most thriving tourism in the world, its dating back to the history of religious culture. Despite having tourist attractions and benefiting from holy places and shrines, Shiraz metropolis has not yet been able to achieve much success in attracting cultural tourists. Religious tourism in this city, can lead it to the development of entrepreneurship. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the role of factors affecting religious tourism in entrepreneurship development in Shiraz with fuzzy cognitive mapping and social network analysis. This mixed research method is applied in terms of purpose and from the point of data collection is descriptive. For this purpose, after stating the subject and reviewing the research background, the factors affecting religious tourism in entrepreneurship development in Shiraz were identified and then a matrix questionnaire was provided to 120 religious tourists and then data were collected. Then the obtained data were analyzed by FCMapper and Ucinet software. According to the Findings, among the identified factors, informing factors about religious sites and their background, the development and prosperity of tourism businesses for pilgrims, and creating security are more central than other factors. Finally, some scenarios were written based on these three factors and some suggestions were made to promote the role of religious tourism in entrepreneurship development in Shiraz
