Regular Self-Care Pattern (RSC) in Marital Intimacy Arising From an Islamic Perspective
The purpose of this study is to explain the pattern of regular self-care in marital intimacy arising from an Islamic perspective. For this purpose, using the grounded theory, Islamic sources including the verses of the Qur'an and the Hadiths were studied. By searching keywords related to the subject and with the help of search software from Quranic verses and fifty Islamic sources, research data were collected and then to discover and extract the pattern of self-care. The data was decoded in a three-step process including primary and secondary open coding and axial coding and was provided to ten experts in the field of religion and family. With study axis categories, the core category discovered, and the relationship with other categories within the theoretical model were determined in accordance with the Strauss and Corbin paradigm model using selective coding. Findings showed that the central phenomenon in this model is "uns" or intimacy that satisfies intimacy needs as a causal condition, intimacy barriers and positive and negative emotions as intervening conditions, underlying conditions including couple responsibility, perception of intimacy structures Expected and real, strategies including regulating perceptions, sharing perceptions, determining marital intimacy status, and performing tailored skills to marital intimacy status and regular self-care were discovered as a consequence of the pattern. The process of regular self-care model for the formation of intimate relationships between couples is a cultural model in accordance with the teachings of Islam, and couples can learn to improve their intimate relationships by self-help
