The Relationship between Intellectual Capital and Sustainability in Sport Enterprises and presenting a Model
One of effective factors on sustainability of sport enterprises is excising of intangible capitals such as intellectual capital. In fact, intellectual capital as the intangible assets of enterprises is a key factor for sustainable competitive advantage. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to effects of intellectual capital on sport enterprises sustainability.
The statistical sample was 323 person including sport entrepreneurs in production and services sectors. Research designed questionnaires was used and after confirming content and construct validity, reliability was obtained by Cronbach's (alpha) (.786 & .891). The research method was quantitative and based on structural equation modeling by LISREL 8.5. Fitness indices was obtained.
Result showed that there was positive and significance relation between intellectual capital and enterprise sustainability. Enterprises sustainability was determined about 40% by intellectual capital. In fact, there are a positive relationship between intellectual capital including human capital, relational capital, instructional capital and sustainability.
Since the human capital via change of structural capital and relational capital converts knowledge to competitive advantage, consideration to structure and environment and training of management and sport skills is needed. Key words: intellectual capital, sport, enterprise, sustainability.
