Evaluation and comparison of marital relationship quality components in divorced couples and normal couples
The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the quality components of marital relationship in divorced couples and normal couples in Qazvin. The method of this research was descriptive causal-comparative. The statistical population of the present study included all couples seeking divorce who had referred to counseling centers in Qazvin in the summer of 1399. The sampling method of this study was simple random, so that from all couples referred to Qazvin counseling centers, 30 couples (husband and wife) were selected and compared with 30 normal couples who did not apply for divorce. It should be noted that both groups were matched in terms of characteristics such as age, gender and level of education. The instrument used in this study was the Perceived Marital Relationship Quality Questionnaire (PRQC). The data of this study were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results of the present study showed that there is a significant difference between couples seeking divorce and normal couples in terms of all components of marital relationship quality ((= 05 0.05). Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the components of the quality of the marital relationship are a strong predictor of divorce and its application (> = 0.05).
