Examine the impact supervisors' perceptions of interactional justice on abusive supervision: explain the role of moderator authoritarian leadership style (Case study: Sepah Bank)

The purpose of this study is examine the impact supervisors’ perceptions of interactional justice and authoritarian leadership style on abusive supervision. Also examined the effect of authoritarian leadership style as moderator variable in the relationship between supervisors' perceptions of interactional justice and abusive supervision.

The statistical population of the study consisted of 126 supervisors of Sepah Bank branches in Shiraz and data collecting tool was questionnaires includes standardized questionnaires interactional justice (Neihoff & Moorman, 1993), authoritarian leadership style (Cheng et al, 2004), and abusive supervision (Tepper, 2000). Validity and reliability the questionnaires using face validity, construct validity and Cronbach's alpha were examined To analyze the data, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling software and smart PLS (version 2) was used. The results showed that supervisors’ perceptions of interactional justice has a negative and significant impact on abusive supervision and authoritarian leadership style as independent variable has Positive and significant impact on abusive supervision. It was also found authoritarian leadership style as a moderator variable, has a positive and significant impact but weak in relationship between supervisors' perceptions of interactional justice and abusive supervision.
