There was a significant relationship between the “emotional atmosphere” of the family of origin and self-differentiation. There was a significant relationship between self-differentiation and optimistic, realistic and ideal attitude towards marriage. The results showed that self-differentiation mediates the relationship between the "dialogue" patterns and "emotional atmosphere" of the original family with an optimistic attitude about marriage. It can be concluded that by improving the communication patterns and emotional atmosphere of the family of origin and thus increasing the self-differentiation of individuals, one can help to acquire an optimistic, realistic and idealistic attitude towards marriage.
