The Relationship between Managers' Emotional Intelligence and Quality of Work Lifewith Knowledge Management in Tejarat Bank in Tehran
The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between quality of work life and the emotional intelligence of managers with knowledge management. The research population included all the managers and employees of Tejarat Banks in Tehran out of whom 600 were selected using stratified and cluster random sampling. Three questionnaires were given to the sample members for data collection: (a) Knowledge Management questionnaire (Salys and Jones, 2002) which is composed of 42 items (), (b) 29-item QWL questionnaire of Walton (1973) (), and Sybrya Shrink's Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (1996) that consists of 33 items (). The results of multivariate linear regression analysis showed that: (a) there is no significant relationship between emotional intelligence and knowledge management, and (b) there is a significant relationship between knowledge management and quality of work life.
