Identifying the resilience components of border coastal cities against natural hazards(Case study: Behshahr border coastal city)

The resilience approach reduces the threats posed by natural hazards in humanitarian crises by improving the level of adaptation and thus reducing the level of vulnerability in border cities, and improves the sustainable management of these areas. The aim of this study was to identify and investigate the urban resilience of the coastal coastal city of Behshahr. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. their number, a simple random sampling of 50 people was performed in a targeted manner.cwell as divergent validity and reliability of the questionnaire using Cronbach's alpha and combined reliability. Data and information analysis was performed using SPSS and PLS software. The findings of this study showed that the general resilience of the coastal border city of Behshahr is in an unfavorable situation. So that the value of the experimental average obtained for the overall resilience of the city and its dimensions was less than the average of 3. Among the 6 areas studied, District 3 was in a better condition than the other areas and District 4, according to the average obtained, which was equal to 2.43 of the studied areas, was in an unfavorable situation. Among other research findings, among the components of urban resilience, the physical component had the highest path coefficient and the most impact, and the managerial institutional component had the lowest path coefficient and the least impact on urban resilience.
