Recognition and Analysis of Animal Resurrection with a Rational and Narrative Approach
Belief in resurrection and the hereafter, is one of the fundamental religious beliefs that is discussed in theology(eschatology). In all heavenly religions, it has been affirmed that all human beings are gathered in Qiamat(resurrection), before God to respond for their actions. But there is no such statement about animals. Therefore, researching on this subject is of particular importance, and the question arises as to whether animals are dealt with such as plants and inanimate objects, or whether they are delalt with like intelligent, perceptive, and obligated, and therefore resposible for their actions or not. It is assumed that although animals are not obliged the way humans are, they will never be exempt from accountability in the resurrection and must be held accountable for their actions. This article has been able to "recognize and analyze the resurrection of animals" by analyzing the intellectual and narrative data. It is concluded that based on the ralative perception the animals have in comparison to human beings, and due to Quranic verses and Islamic hadithes, the animals will have a resurrection and will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection and must be held accountable, though their accountability is limited in comparison to that of humans.
