Designing the Interpretive Structural Model of antecedents affecting on the Quality of Traffic Police Services
Traffic Police provides a lot of services to citizens, however, despite many advances in various fields, there is still no comprehensive model for measuring the quality of services of this specialized police. The present study aims to analyze the factors affecting the quality of traffic police services with the ISM approach.
In this study, interpretive structural modeling was used. Data were collected from experts who were selected through purposive sampling. After identifying the factors influencing the quality of Traffic police services, it was approved by experts.
The results of interpretive structural modeling showed that among the 11 factors extracted, coherent inter-sectoral relationship, modest behavior during authority, empowerment, application of new technologies in service delivery, transparency in work processes were highly guided and dependent. This means that any change in them affects the whole system.
An appropriate model for the quality of road services with eleven dimensions including application of new technologies in service delivery, soft and hard police empowerment, coherent inter-departmental communication in the police force, speed in service delivery, accuracy in service delivery, modest behavior while authority, Competence and skills of employees, transparency in work processes, reliability, ease of service delivery and work environment conditions.
