The study about the intermediary role of social trust in the effectiveness of social control variable on the tendency to the disturbance (Case Study: The Youth of East Azarbaijan Province Aged 15-29)

Poverty, deprivation, unemployment, inflation, insecurity and loss of purchasing power are the phenomena having unpleasant and adverse effects on the thoughts and actions of citizens. Meanwhile, neglecting youth’s demands, wishes and needs in a variety of contexts causes social disapproval and probably tendency toward to disturbing behavior. The primary aim of this study is to determine the role of institutional trust and social controls on youth’s tendency toward disturbance. The method of research was survey and the instrument was questionnaire. The population of this research; was youth of East Azerbaijan province aged 15-29 using by Cochran formulasome of them were selected through stratified random sampling. Having collected the questionnaires the data were analyzed by spss software. According to level of variables the Pearson R correlation coefficient, regression and path analysis were used to test the hypothesis. In this study based on survey results, the average propensity to disturbance among youth is lower than average. The result of multiple regression analysis shows that official social control and institutional trust variables contribute distinctly in explaining youth’s tendency to disturbance. Besides, the results of accomplished analysis show that social control variables affect the level of tendency to commotions 22% by the variation of social trust variable directly and indirectly.
