The Study of Nomadic Women’s Role and Position in the Nomad’s Social and Economical Development

Abstract:
Background

The Background of nomadic life refers back to the beginning of human’s life when the large relative groups in search of earning a living were continuously moving in different regions and were busy hunting animals and eating jungle fruits in an era called Hunting Period. With a history referring back to more than 7000 years ago, Iranians in form of different nomads and tribes inhabited periodically in some special regions of the country and changed the way of living and earring due to the change of the seasons and jobs which were commonly animal husbandry, breeding, and agriculture. This is a definition that covers the nomadic life in terms of today’s sociology, economic, and society.

Findings

According to such a definition and given frameworks, nomads are the people who earn their livings through animal husbandry and pastoral life. They have no fix and unchanged place for living and move the long distance between the summer and winter following their flocks.

Conclusion

In this research, we study the women’s role and position in social and economical development and present some suggestions.
