Investigating the grammatical and rhetorical structure of selected words from the Holy Quran in the target language based on the comparative model of Livon Zwart (Case study: Translated by Kavianpour, Maleki and Makarem Shirazi)
Today, the critique of the translation of religious texts has attracted the attention of many scholars and translators. One of these theorists is Livon Zwart, who has defined two comparative and descriptive models for translation. In this research, using descriptive-analytical method, the grammatical and rhetorical structure of selected words from the verses of the Holy Quran in the target language is examined based on the comparative model of Livon Zwart in the translations of Kavianpour, Maleki and Makarem Shirazi. Examination of the translations of selected words from the Holy Quran revealed that a property of a total of 20 examples, in 13 cases, transformed the grammatical and rhetorical construction of words and was most effective in translation. Kavianpour and Makarem Shirazi, with 11 items each, have modified the grammatical and rhetorical construction of words in the target language. The changes made by this translator have been made mostly in order to coordinate and communicate the translation with the target language, although in some cases it has slipped due to the application of these changes.
