The purpose of this study was to identify and rank the dimensions (individual, organizational and environmental) of job stressful staff of the Mazandaran Police Command and to provide practical suggestions. The research method was descriptive-applied. The statistical population included commanders, deputies, experts, heads of departments and law enforcement personnel in the year 1998-99. Purposeful sampling method was used to determine the sample. Valuable opinions of commanders, deputies and law enforcement experts were used to validate the tool. The reliability of the instrument was used by Cronbach's alpha method and confirmed. A researcher-made questionnaire of job stressful dimensions (60 questions) was used in three dimensions (individual, organizational and environmental). Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, confirmatory factor analysis and t-test using SPSS21 software were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the dimensions of job stress from highest to lowest were related to environmental, organizational and individual dimensions, respectively. As a result, job stress is one of the issues that causes unwanted energies to be spent on organizational tensions; Therefore, it is necessary to use measures and programs to reduce and eliminate this issue in order to improve the quantity and quality and fulfill the social responsibilities of the organization.
