Dimensions of EFQM in the staff of Mazandaran Province Police Command in the field of knowledge and skills

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to provide effective dimensions of EFQM in the command staff among police force in Mazandaran province in knowledge and skills. this research was application that conducted with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) . In the qualitative approach, the content analysis method and in the quantitative approach, the descriptive survey method were used. The statistical population consisted of 15 people in the qualitative section, managers and commanders of the Mazandaran Police Command, and in the quantitative section, 2500 employees of the Mazandaran Police Command, who in the qualitative section used purposive sampling method with Considering the saturation law, 10 people , 330 people were selected as a sample using simple random sampling method. For data collection, an interview and a researcher-made questionnaire of organizational excellence with 60 questions were used. The face and content validity of the tools were approved by experts and their structural validity was calculated with a factor load greater than 0.5 which was confirmed. And their combined reliability and Cronbach's alpha were also calculated above 0.7, which was confirmed. Exploratory factor analysis tests were used to analyze the data. The results showed that:EFQM variable has two dimensions of "empowerment and performance". Also, the empowerment dimension has 5 components "command, learning, human resources, military strategy and organizational structure" and the functional dimension has 3 components "security outcomes, community outcomes and key performance outcomes" which has an empowerment dimension with a factor of 0.996 with more ‌ The highest share and performance dimension with a factor load of 0.959 has the lowest share. Also, the results of structural equation test showed that the dimensions of empowerment and performance have a significant role in organizational excellence, and empowerment dimension has the most role and functional dimension has the least role inEFQM .
