The Effect of Covid-19 Fear and Mediating Roles of of Emotional Reactivity, Depression and Anxiety on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder; A Review Study
This review study was conducted to review the studies on the psychological consequences of Covid-19 in the development of symptoms of practical obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) during pneumonia. The results showed that fear of developing Covid-19 has a positive and significant effect on OCD. In addition, the fear of developing Covid-19 plays a positive and predictive role in the symptoms of depression and anxiety. Also, the fear of developing Covid-19 affects people with OCD. This effect is primarily related to emotional responsiveness. The high level of emotional responsiveness also demonstrates the effect of Covid-19 on OCD.
