The relationship between environmental factors and the prevention of crime (the case of the City of Sari)

Feel safe in public spaces is one of the most important indicators of environmental quality, and even the issue of security in any society is a complex issue and a variety of social, economic and cultural. But to meet this need should not be unaware of the impact of environmental factors. This study is to identify indicators and factors affecting environmental features, and its impact on the prevention of crime in public spaces area to check it's a sari. The aim of study was to investigate the relationship between environmental components and the prevention of crime. The research methodology is also applied to the procedure, but little effort to achieve more accurate results, using a combination of indicators in the form of a questionnaire of the users' perspective in the study were examined subjected. Considering the size of the population, 280 questionnaires were distributed among citizens. The data using SPSS software processing on the basis of objective, Pearson test was used.
